FC Goa suffered a comprehensive defeat at the hands of Al Nassr, losing 0-4 in their fourth AFC Champions League Two fixture on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Al Nassr coach Jorge Jesus made several changes to his squad, bringing in Harouane Camara and Mohammed Marran for the encounter. Manolo Márquez responded with three alterations to the Goa team that fell to a 2-1 loss in their previous meeting last month.
Goa's defense kept Al Nassr at bay in the opening exchanges. The hosts finally found their breakthrough in the 35' when Abdulrahman Ghareeb unleashed a free-kick that curled past Goa goalkeeper Hrithik Tiwari, striking the underside of the crossbar before crossing the line. The Goan side had a chance to restore parity before halftime when midfielder Ali Alhassan fired over the bar in the 38' after receiving the ball from Nawaf Bu Washl on the flank.
Al Nassr extended their advantage after the break. Ghareeb grabbed his second goal in the 53', receiving a through pass from Alhassan and finishing cleanly past Tiwari to make it 2-0. Goa created a promising opportunity in the 63' when Dejan Dražić beat the offside trap and sent a powerful shot toward the bottom corner, but Al Nassr custodian Raghid Najjar made a crucial save. The hosts capitalized on their escape two minutes later. Bu Washl sent a low cross from the right wing, and Marran converted from close range to extend Al Nassr's lead to three goals. Al Nassr sealed the victory in the 84' when substitutes João Félix and Sadio Mané combined, with Félix finishing the latter's cross using an overhead kick to complete a commanding performance.
FC Goa remain without a point from their opening four matches in Group D. The club will travel to Baghdad to face Al Zawraa SC of Iraq on November 26 in their next fixture.
